New pizza restaurant in south Fort Worth offers $11-$14 pie specials. (And cake.)
Pie Tap open on south side
Hey, Bud! What happened? I thought Pie Tap was supposed to have a patio.
—South side storyteller
It will. The new Fort Worth location of Dallas-based Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar is open in the Near Southside hospital district, 1301 W. Magnolia Ave.
Pie Tap is notable for $7.50 Margherita pizzas Mondays, $14 specials Tuesdays through Thursdays and $11-12 weekday lunch deals.
It’s open daily. Work continues on a rooftop patio; pie-tap.com.
Terra to reopen, just not yet
Hey, Bud! Went to find Terra. It’s not at the address listed in your article.
—In a hurry
Yes. That’s because the new Terra Mediterranean Grill, 2932 Crockett St., has not been built yet.
Don Artemio is open. Try the door
Hey, Bud1 We also went to Don Artemio on Sunday at noon. The door didn’t open. People were attempting to go in. What is going on?
—Same reader
Don Artemio, 3268 W. Seventh St., a James Beard Award finalist, was wide open and very busy at Sunday brunch.
The restaurant door faces Seventh Street, not the valet parking stand on the west side along Arch Adams Street.
Maybe try another door.
