Some good news: Jesús BBQ Family Restaurant, actually a home cooking and Tex-Mex lunch cafe at 810 S. Main St. known for fried chicken and enchiladas, will reopen March 7 after taking a break to say goodbye to late founder Jesús Borja.

Blue Mesa: $12 lunch buffet Wednesdays

Blue Mesa Grill, 612 Carroll St., has a $12 lunch buffet Wednesdays with fajitas, salmon, enchiladas, salads and desserts. Not far away, Day Break Cafe, 2720 White Settlement Road, remains a bargain with $5-$7 lunches,

The north side Original, 1400 N. Main St., will stay open later hours after the March 31 closing of the flagship location, 4713 Camp Bowie Blvd.
