Much-praised Fort Worth sushi restaurant to open location in Keller Town Center

Little Lilly Sushi Too planned in Keller

Hey, Bud! Are we going to get any new restaurants in Keller?

—Desperate for dining

The much-heralded Little Lilly Sushi restaurant in Fort Worth will open a second location, Little Lilly Sushi Too, at 1004 Keller Parkway in Keller Town Center, the Liu family said this week. It’ll have more space and a larger menu than the Fort Worth location, which was named one of the 10 best new restaurants in Texas when it opened in 2012.

On the down side: The stretched-thin Keller location of San Antonio-based Las Palapas seems to have closed.

Dayne’s BBQ in Fort Worth to add kolaches

Hey, Bud! Is Dayne really going to make kolaches?

—BBQ guy

As if Dayne’s Craft Barbecue weren’t doing enough business already at 9840 Camp Bowie Blvd. West, the Weavers will add pastries soon that will “change the kolache game in Fort Worth,” Dayne wrote on Facebook. The restaurant is still serving lunch Fridays through Sundays from its trailer home while the restaurant is finished.

The neighborhood has been hungry for kolaches since the local Busy B’s Bakery closed.

TJ’s Catfish hosts Frog party in Arlington

Hey, Bud! Where is a TCU game party besides Bonnell’s or Dutch’s?

—Couldn’t afford California

TJ’s Catfish & Wings & BBQ, 4261 W. Green Oaks Blvd. in southwest Arlington, hosted a team party before the Fiesta Bowl and will have Monday specials. It’s a consistent favorite for excellent catfish, chicken and gumbo.
