Panther City BBQ, 201 E. Hattie St. (on East Pennsylvania Avenue off I-35W), is your place. It’s open for lunch Friday through Sunday Thanksgiving weekend, with offerings including the legendary brisket elote. There’s a new indoor serving line and dining area,

Hurtado Barbecue, 1116 Eighth Ave., Fort Worth, and 205 E Front St., Arlington, is open for lunch Friday through Sunday Thanksgiving weekend. The Fort Worth location also serves breakfast biscuits and tacos every day.

(Goldee’s and Dayne’s are taking the week off.)

Hey, Bud! What’s happening with Jube’s Smokehouse? He says he’s moved but hasn’t said where.

Preacher/pitmaster Patrick “Jube” Joubert has taken his barbecue business home to Arlington. He’ll do catering and take orders. He became known for his dirty rice-stuffed turkey legs and more Cajun and barbecue specials at his old South Edgewood Terrace restaurant; jubes-smokehouse.com.

Paris Coffee Shop open weekends for dinner

Hey, Bud! Say something about the Paris Coffee Shop being open for dinner, OK?

Fort Worth’s 95-year-old Paris Coffee Shop, 704 W, Magnolia Ave., now serves dinner Thursdays through Saturdays with a full bar. It’s a quiet stop for burgers, salads, salmon or a rib-eye steak and fries.

It’s not the same old Paris. But it has a very similar breakfast and some good new menu items, plus salads.
