The Kimbell Café and patio inside the museum’s Kahn Building, 3333 Camp Bowie Blvd., has established a regular following for its $35 tea-for-two with scones, sandwiches and shortbreads. it’s served at mid-afternoon daily except Monday. Add a second tea for $5 or all four teas for an extra $15. Try to call ahead; 817-332-8451 ext. 721.

Ranchman’s Ponder Steakhouse to reopen

Hey, Bud! We miss going to Ranchman’s in Ponder for Thanksgiving. Will it ever open again?

The 74-year-old Ranchman’s Ponder Steakhouse, a Denton County landmark known as a cast hangout during the filming of “Bonnie & Clyde” in the 1960s, is close to reopening after a two-year break. The 119-year-old building, 110 W. Bailey St. in Ponder, needed repairs and a new kitchen.

NM Cafe in Fort Worth has ‘breakfast with Santa’

Hey, Bud! We really miss the “Breakfast with Santa” at Neiman’s. Do they still have that?

The NM Cafe at Neiman Marcus in Clearfork, 5200 Monahans Ave., is serving a $60 breakfast with Santa and elves Dec. 3, 10-11 and 17-18 featuring pastries, French toast, a bacon-and-eggs platter and a mimosa. It usually sells out; eventbrite.com.
