Boho Bistro, described as a global restaurant but showcasing American favorites on a wide-ranging menu, is the new restaurant in the dining room at the 74-year-old Woman’s Club of Fort Worth, according to a club announcement on social media.

The club’s restaurant, at 1316 Pennsylvania Ave. across from major hospitals, has been open to both men and women for lunch weekdays the last few years along with offering catering and special events. It was previously a home to Z’s Cafe.

Boho Bistro is a new restaurant by Mark French, an active caterer, home chef and contributor to Facebook dining pages.

The club’s National Register-nominated dining room was built in 1948 during Fort Worth’s postwar heyday.

The dining room is in May R. Waples Hall, in the rear of the Woman’s Club complex on Pennsylvania Avenue across the street from Texas Health Harris Methodist. The entrance is on West Tucker Street behind the building.

A more detailed announcement is expected this week; 888-722-2933 bohobistro.us.
