Uh — this page has published eight major stories plus podcasts and videos since Texas’ statewide No. 1 barbecue joint, Goldee’s, opened in February 2020 at 4645 Dick Price Road. But it opened only days before COVID, so some folks missed the news. Check out CNN Travel’s new story about how Goldee’s went from making 50 cents some days during COVID to today’s boom, and then go get in line around sunrise Fridays through Sundays.

Every Thursday, just like always. More daily specials: Mondays, fried chicken; Tuesdays, meatloaf; Wednesdays, a new pot roast special; and Fridays, catfish. There’s a new home-cooking menu all day and night and brunch weekends, plus new salads. Watch for it by the end of May.
