It takes time to build, staff a restaurant

Hey, Bud! When will [many different names] restaurant open?

—Hungry readers

It’s always a ballpark guess when restaurants will open. They have to get the materials, finish construction, get inspected and find and train workers. For nicer restaurants, watch the reservation services like OpenTable.com or Resy.com. For cafes, figure they’ll open when the food-service trucks start showing up..
