Hey, Bud! I saw where Fireside Pies closed. Why doesn’t Crockett Row fix the parking?

Fireside Pies had five free parking garages nearby, two alongside the restaurant. The Crockett Row shops and restaurants all offer free parking with validation, and street parking at lunch is free. The problem over there involves surrounding bars that leech up other businesses’ parking.

Candlelite Inn for a club lunch

Hey, Bud! I’m part of a car club looking for restaurants in Tarrant County with seating for 25-30 and parking for 15-20 cars. We went to Los Vaqueros. We have favorites like Angelo’s, Joe T. García’s and Heim but thought you might have ideas.

Candlelite Inn, 1202 E. Division St., Arlington, has a great roadside-Americana history, lots of meal choices, plenty of room and plenty of parking.

The Chamseddine family has retired after seven years serving fresh, handmade Mediterranean salads, soups and lunches in one of the most precious little family restaurants ever in west Fort Worth.
