Lili’s Bistro restaurant in Fort Worth shutters for 3 months to ‘freshen up’

Lili’s Bistro, one of the first nice restaurants on West Magnolia Avenue in the medical district, has closed for one to three months to change menus and concept, owner Vance Martin said Monday.

The abrupt closing on the eve of St. Valentine’s Day took patrons and staffers by surprise.

Martin declined to discuss plans further Monday.

Lili’s Facebook page announced that the restaurant is closed temporarily “for 30-90 days” to freshen the “concept, menus and staffing.”

“We do look forward to seeing our guests again as soon as possible,” the announcement read.

Martin is one of the Near Southside’s veteran restaurateurs, originally opening Cafe Panacea on Henderson Street, then moving to Lili’s 15 years ago.
