Early New Year’s special at Cafe Modern

Hey, Bud! Any more updates on New Year’s Eve?

—Megan, Arlington

If COVID allows, Cafe Modern will serve an early dinner from lunch until 7 p.m., featuring prime rib, roasted salmon, Filipino pancit noodles and more. It’s all at regular menu prices — plus there’s outdoor seating.

Winslow’s Wine Cafe has a $130 dinner with wines included and some outside seating. If you’re OK dining inside, there were tables available at midweek at Ellerbe Fine Foods, The Tavern, Towne Grill and il Modo, among others.
