The Buffalo West steakhouse is now offering one of the best family-dinner takeout bargains.
On weeknights, Buffalo West offers $25-$30 dinners for a family of four.
On Monday, the first night, Buffalo West sold out in an hour.
There’s only one choice each night, but they’re good entrees such as meatloaf, roast sirloin or turkey and dressing with sides and salad. (Thursday’s entree was pot roast.)
On Friday, Buffalo West will offer $20 individual sirloin platters with a baked potato, salad and bread pudding.

▪ Enchiladas Olé reopened Thursday in its new Forest Park Boulevard location and will offer family dinners to go.

▪ The little Day Break Cafe & Grill, a bargain plate-lunch cafe with a drive-thru window, isn’t running new deals, but it has daily specials until 4 p.m. for less than $6.

▪ Magdalena’s, usually a popular pop-up restaurant, is serving to-go family packs Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 6:30 p.m.

▪ Pearl Snap Kolaches expanded its menu and is offering family-size dinners such as chicken-and-rice or roast pork for $15, plus dishes such as roast chicken or carnitas for $8.

▪ Both Lucile’s A Stateside Bistro and Tributary Cafe are selling fried chicken family dinners.
It’s not difficult to find a fried chicken family pack, but Lucile’s and Tributary both serve some of the city’s very best.

▪ The Railhead Smokehouse barbecue drive-through location in Willow Park has added nightly family packs serving a family of four for $30 (pulled pork on Friday) to $50 (pork ribs, Thursday).

▪ This was in the midweek column, but little Los Zarapes Restaurant is offering a 3-pound fajitas dinner for $40.
