Yes, pi = 3.14. Now here’s where to get $3.14 off pies & pizzas on National Pi Day
Pie is so great, it has two national days.
March 14 is National “Pi” Day — as in 3.14 — and that’s another chance for dessert.
▪ The California-based SusieCakes bakery in WestBend will mark down cherry and coconut pie prices with a $3.14 discount (limit five).
▪ The underrated brandy apple pie at Cantina Laredo and cousin El Chico Restaurants is marked down by $3.14 Saturday.
That makes it about $3 at El Chico locations in Pantego or Richland Hills and about $6 at Cantina Laredo in Sundance Square.

▪ One reminder: Irving, Mansfield and Watauga, Texas, are some of the only towns in America where special pie dispensation is granted to diners.
At the Joe’s Coffee Shop locations in those cities, patrons ordering a plate lunch with vegetables can substitute “pie as a vegetable” for an upcharge.
I know of nowhere else where pie can become a vegetable. So enjoy.
