Little Germany, Longhorn Steakhouse restaurants to open soon in Fort Worth

New German restaurant coming any day to Ridglea

Hey, Bud! There was a good German restaurant that was supposed to open on Camp Bowie Boulevard in Ridglea not far from Edelweiss. Please advise the location.

—Rod, Grapevine

Little Germany’s move from 703 N. Henderson St. to 6737 Camp Bowie Blvd. has been delayed for all the usual reasons. Watch for it any day now, and until March 15 go see the Gonzalez family — former Edelweiss staffers — on Henderson.

Hungry for steak in the Alliance area

Hey, Bud! When are Longhorn Steakhouse and Lupe Tortilla opening in north Fort Worth? We’re hungry out here.

—Barney, north of the loop

The Longhorn Steakhouse is now listing an April 7 opening, although that’s always subject to change. I don’t think Lupe Tortilla is that close.

Ready to book for Easter, but what’s new?

Hey, Bud! What’s someplace new or different to book for Easter and Mother’s Day this year? Anything different?

—Beverly, Fort Worth

I think the new Marcus Paslay restaurant in Mule Alley, Provender Hall, might be open by April 12. But I’m not sure whether it’ll be ready for a holiday brunch. I do know Lili’s will be open this year. (Note: Book whatever you can get now for Easter and Mother’s Day. Diners come early and bring big families.)
