Irving-based i Fratelli Pizza, a thin-and-crispy Sicilian-style pizzeria with 19 locations mostly in the Dallas, Houston and Austin areas, will open two new Fort Worth pizza stands, the company confirmed.

A year after the first Fort Worth delivery location opened on Eighth Avenue, i Fratelli will open locations in north and southwest Fort Worth, a company spokesperson said in an online message.

An i Fratelli at 5836 SW Loop 820 in the Southwest Crossing shopping center near the Chisholm Trail Parkway will be operated by Becky and Johnny Mazon, operators of the current take-out store at 1907 Eighth Ave. in the Fairmount neighborhood.

Another new location will open at 2700 Western Center Blvd., in the Western Center Marketplace shops. That location will be owned by Keller operator Paul Watrous.

Both locations will open in the spring, a company spokesperson said.

The company was launched by four Cole family brothers as an Irving restaurant in 1987. That restaurant continues, but the company is growing with delivery.

The Coles are distantly related to the Campisi family and originally opened i Fratelli in markets where Campisi’s had yet to open. Both companies are growing with the same crispy pizzas.
