New choices for Christmas Day: Cut & Bourbon, Toro Toro, Wicked Butcher bar all open

If you waited to make your Christmas Day reservation, you’re in luck.

It’s a way to draw new diners to Cut & Bourbon, Toro Toro Latin Steakhouse and Wicked Butcher.

Cut & Bourbon, a big success for its Thanksgiving buffet, will serve a brunch menu and seafood buffet

It’s a $56 brunch in the new Live by Loews! hotel in Arlington. (On Christmas, there won’t be any game traffic.)

Cut & Bourbon is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily at 1600 E. Randol Mill Road, 682-277-4950, loewshotels.com

Toro Toro, a fast hit for its eye-catching grill and steakhouse flavor, will serve a special featuring a jalapeno-stuffed beef tenderloin with an ancho-sweet-onion demi-glace.

(So far, any steak or beef from Toro Toro is a hit, down to the lunch cheddar burger with bacon-onion jam.)

The Christmas Day menu also includes crispy Brussels sprouts, potatoes “three ways” and the restaurant’s kale salad with a sweet chipotle vinaigrette.

For dessert: Toro Toro’s cinnamon sopaipilla with lemongrass-vanilla ice cream.

Yes, it’s $65.

If you want to try Toro Toro a different day, it has $14 burgers and a $25 lunch combo in midday, and it’s open daily for lunch and dinner.

It’s at 200 Main St. in the dramatically remodeled Worthington Renaissance; 817-210-2222, torotorofortworth.com.
