Hey, Bud! We’re taking TEXRail to Main Street Fest in Grapevine this weekend. Where do we eat?

—Al, North Richland Hills

In the morning, go in time for coffee or pastries and breakfast at Main Street Bistro & Bakery, 316 S. Main St, Don’t miss the Southern cooking and stellar desserts at Mason & Dixie, 603 S. Main St., or pies at JudyPie, 520 S. Main St. For a steakhouse, Mac’s on Main is at 909 S. Main St., near the train station.

Hey, Bud! What about Perry’s?

—Al again, North Richland Hills

Yes, it’s “Flashback Friday” May 17 at Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille, 2400 Texas 114 West in Grapevine. The first 100 patrons in line before 11 a.m. get Houston-based Perry’s “pork chop Friday” lunch special for 79 cents. (If you don’t make it at lunch, there’s a menu of $9 happy hour items in the bar.)

Hey, Bud! Where can we get a margarita tamarindo like in San Miguel de Allende?

—Missing Mexico

This was a tough one. Chadra Mezza and Grill, of all places, has the tamarind margarita popular in Mexico. It’s a Lebanese and Mediterranean restaurant at 1622 Park Place Ave., known for a lunch buffet and Wednesday night pizza-and-pasta buffet.
