Barbecue on Christmas Eve? Sure, why not? Ranking the Texas Live! restaurants
Hey, Bud! What’s the power ranking of restaurants at Texas Live!
—@BrianMa97515071 on Twitter
Our Robert Philpot — @RPhilpot — says: 1. Troy’s, 2. Lockhart Smokehouse (although that might be No. 1), 3. Miller Tavern. If you’d like to look around, Lockhart Smokehouse will be open until 3 p.m. Christmas Eve, and both Pudge’s Pizza and Sports & Social will be open until 10 p.m. Christmas Eve and reopen at 4 p.m. Christmas Day.
Hey, Bud! How about a recommendation for challah? [One bakery] looked at me like I had three heads when I asked for some.

This isn’t exactly restaurant news, but Central Market bakes challah. I see you found it at Great Harvest Bread on West Magnolia Avenue, a reliable little chain bake shop.
Hey, Bud! Did you see where Coney Island from Tulsa is coming?
—Oklahoma Coney Guy
If you’re a fan of Midwest-style Coney Island dogs with chili and onions, Tulsa’s storied downtown Coney Island Hot Weiner Shop will open locations soon in Rockwall and Arlington. But you can already get the Oklahoma version at Hookers Grill in the Stockyards, where they also make the pressed-onion burgers the same way as in El Reno, Okla.
