A West 7th bar is changing hands this week after 14 years. Here’s what’s next

A West 7th favorite is changing hands after nearly 14 years this week.

Reservoir, located at 1001 Foch St., will become Industry House on July 9, the Industry House team announced in a July 2 Facebook. Reservoir owner Emil Bragdon also announced the news on Facebook that same day. The Fourth of July weekend was the location’s last weekend as Reservoir Bar.

“There are so many things I could say, but honestly, I’m at a loss for words. Fourteen years is a long time, and I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey,” Bragdon wrote.

“I’ve personally known the Industry House team for years, and I can say without hesitation that hospitality is at the core of who they are. Their passion, creativity, and commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience are second to none. I truly believe you’re going to love what they’re creating. It will be a one-of-a-kind concept for this area.”

Reservoir is now Industry House in West 7th

The new Industry House concept will be at the same Foch Street location, and, from the looks of the Facebook post, will further emphasize the “gastro” in gastropub.

“Industry House is where chef-driven food, live sports, and unforgettable events come together under one roof. We’ve been working behind the scenes to create a place built for game days, dinner with friends, late nights, and everything in between,” according to the Facebook post.

As of July 6, a visit to Reservoir’s website returns an “Oops! This page does not exist.” message.

Reservoir first opened in December 2012, when it anchored the Foch Street Warehouses area in the West 7th district. Previous Star-Telegram coverage from when Reservoir opened called the nightlife spot an “open air ultra-modern bar and patio” that “has already become the cool new place to go for the party crowd,” with a “trendy menu” featuring items like fried chicken in a Cap’n Crunch crust.

Other Reservoir locations

Reservoir fans can still visit the Irving location near the Toyota Music Factory at 330 W. Las Colinas Blvd. That location opened in 2019.
