Dead mice found in one restaurant, roaches in four in Dallas health inspections

In the latest round of health inspections, one Dallas restaurant failed, roaches were seen at four businesses that serve food, and rodents were found at another, according to the inspection reports.

The reports, which were compiled by Star-Telegram, contain data and health violations from June 22-June 28 and results of 175 restaurant inspections.

Dallas’ health inspections operate on a 100-point system: A score of 100 is considered perfect and scores below 70 are failing. Reinspections of restaurants that fail are required within 10 days.

One restaurant failed inspection this go around:

Rodents were observed at one restaurant:

  1. Sooul Food Cafe, 3308 Elsie Faye Heggins St. Score: 82 - OBSERVED DEAD ROACHES AND MICE ON STICKY TRAPS. DISPOSE OF DEAD AND TRAPPED PESTS.

Roaches were observed at four establishments:

  2. Panaderia Y Restaurant Latina, 611 S. Hampton Road. Score: 86
  3. La Nueva Puntada, 3818 W. Clarendon Drive. Score: 87
  4. Fruitlandia, 10788 Harry Hines Blvd. # G-8. Score: 89
