Roaches found in eight restaurants in latest Dallas health inspections
Three Dallas restaurants failed inspection and roaches were seen at eight places that serve food in the latest round of city health inspections, according to the inspection reports.
The reports compiled by the Star-Telegram contain data and health violations from June 8 through June 21 and results of 368 inspections.
Dallas’ health inspections function on a 100-point system: A score of 100 is considered perfect and scores below 70 are considered failing, with reinspection required within 10 days.
Three restaurants failed this round of inspections:
- Vidorra, located at 2642 Main St., had a score of 63
- Senda Del Sabor, located at 10118 Garland Road, had a score of 64
- Chip’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers, located at 1605 North Beckley Ave., had a score of 65
Roaches were observed at eight food establishments:
- Vidorra, located at 2642 Main St., had a score of 63
- La Paloma Taqueria, located at 9661 North Central Expressway, had a score of 71
- El Gallo De Oro Dallas, located at 2233 North Prairie Creek Road, had a score of 80
- Don Jorge’s Cocina, located at 1436 South Buckner Blvd., had a score of 82
- Williams Chicken, located at 9359 Forest Lane, had a score of 85
- Chicas Tacos, located at 11044 Harry Hines Blvd., had a score of 88
- Shell Shack, located at 2326 North Henderson Ave., had a score of 91
- Hilton Garden Inn, located at 2325 North Stemmons Freeway, had a score of 98
