$2.6 million Chuy’s Tex-Mex restaurant to open in this North Texas shopping center in 2024

The Austin-based Tex-Mex restaurant chain Chuy’s is coming to Hudson Oaks in the summer of 2024.

The 6,650-square-foot Parker County restaurant is estimated to cost $2.6 million. That will include building the restaurant from the ground up as well as exterior and interior finishes.

At the new location, you can feast on burritos, tacos, fajitas and enchiladas.

Chuy’s Hudson Oaks will be located at 2701 E. Interstate 20. Construction is expected to start Jan. 9 and estimated to be completed Aug. 6. A Lewisville construction company, Parkway Construction & Architecture, will be in charge of the project.

Chuy’s was established in 1982 by Mike Young and John Zapp who “had a vision of a fun and funky Tex-Mex restaurant that served authentic and fresh food in an atmosphere that appealed to everyone.” Chuy’s is known for its huge plates of fresh food that satisfy hunger at an affordable price.

Currently, there are 102 Chuy’s restaurants in 19 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Missouri and Ohio.
