Chicken Pullita to open first North Texas location outside of Dallas-Fort Worth area
An authentic Mexican restaurant is expanding just outside the Dallas-Fort Worth area and will open in Weatherford this year.
Chicken Pullita — which has a menu that includes tacos, tortas and gorditas — will open its first Parker County restaurant at 902 S Main St. in Weatherford.
Once the remodel plans are approved by the city, the project will take about three months to complete, Chicken Pullita administrator Jose Rodriguez said.
The Weatherford location is expected to open before the end of the year, he said.
The restaurant has two existing locations at 904 W Airport Freeway in Irving and at 4920 S Cooper St. in Arlington.
Chicken Pullita also serves ribs and chicken served with a side of rice and charro beans, along with desserts like flan and gelatin.
“We’re expanding, this is going to be the first one that is going outside of the Metroplex,” Rodriguez said.
Plans for a fourth location — located in south Arlington — are in the works with project completion estimated to be in the middle of next year, he said.
