Leo’s Churro Bar food truck to celebrate first anniversary with mariachi band, DJ, pinatas
If you notice a mariachi band, a DJ and pinatas on South Main Street on July 22, you aren’t forgetting a holiday. It’s actually the one-year anniversary of Leo’s Churro Bar.
The food truck, which sits at 105 South Main St., steers away from traditional churros and serves sundaes with a 12-ounce cup of ice cream and a 16-inch churro on top. The toppings are up to the customer.
“We have a lot of different fun flavors such as Fruity Pebbles, Nutella with peanut, caramel, cookies and cream, and strawberry shortcake,” said Jesus Varillas, owner of Leo’s Churro Bar.
The truck is open Wednesday through Sunday from 3-10 p.m.
