National Tamale Day is Wednesday and Tarrant County has plenty of restaurants to help get you celebrate.

Tamales are made with masa, or corn dough, filled with pork, beef, chicken or beans and wrapped in a corn husk or banana leaf.

This centuries old Latin American dish has had its influence on the Lone Star State—for Texans, tamales are often associated with wintertime and Christmas.

Whether you want to dine out or bring dinner home, here are 13 restaurants and stores in Fort Worth and surrounding communities to make your tamale day complete.
