Char’d, an Asian fusion restaurant in Mansfield, is making its move into Fort Worth.

According to Fort Worth Culture Map, the new location will be in the Alliance neighborhood of Fort Worth, at 8901 Tehama Ridge Parkway in the Presidio Towne Crossing development. The location was originally the home of the Tom + Chee grilled cheese restaurant.

Construction is underway, and co-owner Dominic Doan says the restaurant will be open by fall, at the latest.

The first location in Mansfield opened last March, and the restaurant bills itself as a Chipotle-style build-your-own-bowl place that brings in the flavors of Vietnamese, Thai, Korean and Japanese cuisines. It starts with the base, then the protein, then the veggies, then the sauces and toppings made in front of you.

Char’d also offers other options, such as spring rolls, egg rolls, steamed buns and fries.
