Waiting hours for your flight can make you hungry, so it’s beneficial to have an airport that meets your cravings.
Luckily for us North Texas folk, we have it pretty good. Dallas-Fort Worth Airport ranks at No. 6 for best airport dining in the world, according to Skytrax.
Skytrax is an airport award company that surveys customer satisfaction around the world. They survey over 500 airports to determine various awards.
“A central directive of the survey is for customers to make their own personal choices as to which airport they consider to be the best, underlining the brand as the Passenger’s Choice Awards.”
The only U.S. airports to make the best dining list were DFW (No. 6), George Bush Intercontinental Airport (No. 9) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (No. 10).
No. 1 is the Istanbul Airport. They have 118 restaurants and cafes with multiple allergy-friendly and vegan options. “The World’s Best Airport Dining award covers the selection, types and quality of Food & Beverage outlets at the airport (cafe, bars, restaurants, fast food etc.) and the value for money.” according to Skytrax.
