Marcus Paslay, executive chef and owner of Fort Worth’s Clay Pigeon Food and Drink, appeared on the Saturday edition of CBS This Morning. In case you missed it, a brief recap:

During “The Dish” segment, Paslay discussed his Texan background, his decision to become a chef, his adventures in mastering his cooking skills, and his food — a rack of lamb on a bed of couscous, roasted vegetables that would get the attention of any vegetarian, a cocktail made with Avoca Coffee and Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co.’s TX Blended Whiskey, both out of Fort Worth.

National media often lumps Fort Worth in with Dallas, but that didn’t happen this time — perhaps because co-host Vinita Nair grew up in Colleyville, and knows the North Texas territory.

Watch it all beliow. Clay Pigeon is at 2731 White Settlement Road in Fort Worth.
