Burleson J&J Oyster Bar location closes
Add to a rash of early-2016 restaurant closings — Trinity River Tap House in Fort Worth, Feedstore BBQ in Keller, Zoli’s NY Pizza Tavern in Dallas the Burleson location of J&J Oyster Bar.
But while the other restaurants mentioned are sticking around through Valentine’s Day, J&J shut its doors on Feb. 6. The long-running mothership on University Drive in Fort Worth remains open.
Operations manager Christi Haas announced the Burleson closing via Facebook. “We have enjoyed getting to know the wonderful people in the community and sincerely hope you will come to our Fort Worth location t 612 University Dr. whenever you need to enjoy some seafood!,” Haas writes.

According to DFW.com archives, the Burleson location opened in summer 2010. The property will become part of new development in Old Town Burleson.
The Fort Worth location, which has been around for more than 35 years, moved about 10 years ago from an old diner (now Salsa Limón) to one of the city's original Taco Bell locations.
