Cast a spell in the kitchen with Williams Sonoma’s Harry Potter-themed cookware
Williams-Sonoma’s new line of Harry Potter-themed cookware might not have the power to transform you into a culinary wizard, but it does have the potential to make your next dinner party feel like your feasting in Hogwarts’ Great Hall.
Available in stores and online, the special two-piece collection features spatulas and aprons that bear the colors and the crests of all four Hogwarts houses. Torn between showing your house pride for Hufflepuff or Gryffindor? There’s no need to decide when you can just collect them all.
The collection’s magical spatula, which runs around $13, is made with heat-resistant, BPA-free silicone and solid beech wood. On the Williams Sonoma website, the cooking utensil is described as the perfect tool for conjuring up treacle tarts, peppermint toads and Mrs. Weasley's famous fruitcakes.
Also available for purchase are Harry Potter-themed aprons in kids ($24.95) and adult sizes ($39.95). The machine washable aprons are the perfect Christmas present for muggles who like to get messy in the kitchen and can even be monogrammed (for an additional $9.50) with their initials for an even more personalized gift.
While Potterheads might be slightly disappointed in the collection’s limited offerings, a rep for Williams Sonoma confirmed there are plans to expand the line even further in 2018. Could we soon see Hedwig-shaped cookie cutters or a kitchen timer that looks like the Golden Snitch? It looks like we’ll just have to wait and see.
