Martin House Brewing launches Cheer Wine
Speaking of craft beer, Fort Worth’s Martin House Brewing will launch a new seasonal brew — Cheer Wine — at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Billed as a “big, boozy beer with a little cherry on the back end,” Cheer Wine is described by Martin House as a “tart cherry wheat wine,” with an 11 percent ABV.
It is the winning recipe from the Riverside Shootout competition held earlier this year, and will be available only on draft in the month of November.
“Don’t be scared by the term ‘wheat wine,’” reads a press release from Martin House. “It’s still a beer, just one for which we used a lot of wheat in the brewing process.”
