Dallas Cowboys’ new Stadium Club working out rookie woes
The new Stadium Club offers everyday dining for Dallas Cowboys fans, and thankfully at lower prices than the AT&T Stadium concession line.
The new restaurant adjacent to the pro shop at the north door offers lunch and dinner daily. But it’s more sports grill than fine dining, so expect plenty of giant TVs.
The dark, cavernous dining room had the distinctive smell of barbecue on opening day this week. But an appetizer of pulled-pork sliders with red-onion slaw ($9 at lunch) was routine sports-grill fare.
A “Cowboys pot pie” with chicken, poblano and a masa crust sounded very King Ranch-like, but disappointed with gristly chicken and a gummy texture.
Entrees include a Berkshire pork chop ($25), Shiner Bock rotisserie chicken ($18) or a mesquite-grilled rib-eye ($45). The featured burger has Monterey jack and a sriracha aioli ($16).
Desserts included a pineapple upside-down jar cake ($7). Chef Anthony Van Camp was at Ser Steak and Spirits in the Hilton Anatole.
The Stadium Club serves lunch and dinner to the public daily except on game days; 900 E. Randol Mill Road, 817-892-4400, attstadium.com/stadiumclub.
