Alamo Drafthouses to show presidential debates

If you’re planning to watch the presidential debates beginning Monday night but think, “Hey, I’d really like to see this with a couple of hundred or so of my not-so-closest friends,” you can catch them at the Alamo Drafthouses in Dallas and Richardson.

Admission is free and, because it’s the Alamo, there will be a themed menu including a Donald Trump Build a Wall Around It Taco Salad, Hillary’s Leak Pizza, Trump’s YUGE Orange American Dreamsicle Float, and a Clinton Black Out Cocktail.

You can reserve tickets online with a $5 food/beverage voucher that can be redeemed at the event or you can reserve at no charge in person at the box-office. The event is for those 18 and over though children between six and 18 will be allowed with an adult. No children under six allowed.

The debates are scheduled for 8 p.m. Monday, 8 p.m. Oct. 4, 8 p.m. Oct. 9, and 8 p.m. Oct. 19. The Alamo Drafthouses are located at 1005 S. Lamar St., Dallas and 100 S. Central Expressway, Richardson. For more information, go to https://drafthouse.com/dfw/show/2016-presidential-debate .
