Get free back-to-school supplies at MetroPCS stores

Are you budgeting for your children’s school supplies? You’re not alone.

Back-to-school shoppers spend an average of $668 per household, according to the National Retail Federation.

Here’s one way to save. MetroPCS is offering free school supplies at participating Dallas-Fort Worth locations through Aug. 27. The free cinch sacks (limit two per adult) are filled with pencils, pens, a pencil bag, a standard ruler, glue stick, eraser, folder, crayons and a spiral notebook. No purchase is required for the giveaway.

For every phone activation in one of their stores during August, MetroPCS will donate $1 to After-School All-Stars of North Texas, a nonprofit dedicated to providing comprehensive after-school programs.
