‘Real Housewives of Dallas’ gets flushed in the ratings
Despite, or maybe because of, all the poop talk, Bravo’s The Real Housewives got flushed in the ratings race in its Monday night debut.
TV columnist Ed Bark, on his unclebarky.com blog, reports that the show was “the least-watched among four other new Housewives franchise episodes airing in the past week.”
As expected, ratings powerhouse (by Bravo standards) The Real Housewives of Atlanta topped the list with 1,761,000 viewers and a .7 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic. That’s followed by the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with 1,759,000 viewers and a .7 rating with that same age group.
The Real Housewives of Potomac racked up 1,511,000 viewers and a .6 rating and the Real Housewives of New York came in with 1,245,000 viewers and a .4 ratings.
The Dallas wives bring up the rear with 1,076,000 viewers and a .4 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
As Bark says, “that put it 51st in Monday’s mix of top 100 cable programs charted by tvbythenumbers. Among 18-to-49-year-olds, RHOD finished in a 34th place tie with numerous other cable attractions, including HGTV’s Tiny House Hunters and VH1’s Black Ink Crew 4.”
Ratings for the Dallas-Fort Worth area weren’t immediately available.
According to Bark, Monday’s top cable show in total viewers was USA network’s WWE Entertainment with 3,687,000. VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta 5 was tops with 18-to-49-year-olds with a 1.4 rating.
