Bravo has announced the cast and air date for The Real Housewives of Dallas, the North Texas spinoff of its popular “Housewives” reality-show series. It will debut April 11 at 9 p.m.

E! Online has details on who, if they follow in the footsteps of the other “Housewives” franchises, might be overturning tables and brawling on camera. They include Cary Deuber, a registered nurse married to a plastic surgeon; Tiffany Hendra, an actress/host/model; LeeAnn Locken, a former Miss USA competitor; homemaker Stephanie Hollman; and former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Brandi Redmond. Designated as a “friend” to the housewives is Marie Reyes, an RN who owns SkinSpaMed in North Dallas.

According to E!, they will bring “big egos, big hats and even bigger attitude.” It’s Bravo’s latest installment in the “Housewives” franchise which just added The Real Housewives of Potomac to its schedule.

According to a Bravo release, “A natural expansion for The Real Housewives franchise, the extravagant, over-the-top city of Dallas is deeply rooted in Texan pride, where people believe that if they are lucky enough to live in the Lone Star State, they are lucky enough.”

The releases promises “an exclusive look into the glamorous galas, scintillating scandals and enormous egos of this quintet of women as they navigate the social scene of the city’s elite, all while juggling their husbands, boyfriends and families” and says that “Pecking orders and relationships are at stake when old-money meets new-money meets no-money.”

Preview clips are refreshingly free of cattle, but there is a lot of jewelry and at least one broken glass.
