Readers show us their creative Elf on the Shelf ideas

To celebrate the Christmas season, we asked Star-Telegram readers to snap an “elfie,” or a picture of their Elf on the Shelf in action, and share it with us on social media (Instagram, Twitter and Facebook) using the tag #STelfie.

The response was overwhelming. More than 100 photos poured in, as well as a few videos, through social media and email. With pop-culture references to Jurassic World, Adele and the 2016 presidential race, the creativity and imagination of our readers wowed us.

As a special holiday treat, we decided to pack as many elfies into our pages as space would allow. We hope you enjoy. Merry Christmas!
