Fort Worth lawyer’s loud, funny ad goes viral
Fort Worth lawyer Bryan Wilson wanted to bring more attention to his criminal-law practice so he decided to create a series of quirky, loud, attention-grabbing videos starring himself and his friends.
His latest extravaganza has got it all: him on a motorbike, fire, a screaming hawk, the Stockyards, Mexican wrestlers and, oh yeah, reasons why you need to choose him to get you out of a legal jam. So far, it has gotten more than 425,000 views.
The Daily Caller has called him “the greatest lawyer in America” and Patch.com declared him “your new favorite lawyer.”
He told WFAA/8 that he got his avian nickname - "Texas Law Hawk" - at Texas Tech where he got his law degree. “I don’t know what judges think of it [...] my competition says, ‘Oh, that's a terrible idea. Why would you do that, and ruin your career?’”
Last May, he decided to try his luck at making a video to sell his services that featured him running around with a flag and a cop holding a German shepherd. It earned 50,000 hits.
Seems to be working under the motto of “Go Texas big or go home.” He decided to go even more elaborate for his latest creation.
Now, he’s garnering national attention. He told WFAA that he even got a call from a Kentucky detective who told him “You make bad-ass commercials.”
