▪ Learn about North Texas soil types and restoration techniques during a three-mile walk, 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge. Call to register; the class is approved for Master Naturalist advanced training hours. It’s free with paid admission ($2-$5).
From 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday, learn about “Owls From Head to Toe” during a program for all ages. It’s also free with paid admission.
Monday, beginning at 7 p.m., join a Full Moon Paddle for a chance to see deer, raccoons and beavers from the waters of the West Fork of the Trinity River. ▪ Johnson County Master Gardeners also answer gardening questions and give advice 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays. Call the Johnson County Extension Office at 817-556-6370 and ask to speak to a master gardener.
