Where Can You Buy the Air Jordan 3 SE 'Unite' Chicago
Don't go looking for these in the store unless you luck up on something at the Nike outlet. It's really only about resale at this point. The Nike SNKRS page is a relic.
StockX carries CU2277-600, and GOAT has it too. Just confirm the heel tab reads CHI, because the general-release Unite is a different shoe with Nike Air on the back.
What Makes This Retro Stand Out
That heel tab is the loudest callout to my city. Jordan Brand does not swap Nike Air branding lightly, and CHI is the whole reason this pair exists.
Underneath, it's Tinker Hatfield's silhouette in Fire Red tumbled leather with elephant print at the toe and heel, cement grey on the eyestay and collar.
Why Does It Still Matter
MJ wore the 3 at the 1988 All-Star Game in Chicago, which is one of the only times he wore a sneaker on the court that wasn't either mostly white or black. Jordan Brand brought the game back to Chicago in 2020 and made the shoe again in the city's colors. That circle is the point.
