In a moment no farmer would like to endure, Moore risked her safety after finding one of her dwarf goats' necks in the jaws of a cougar.
The scary moment began when various goats ran across the barn to safety from an incoming cougar, with one unlucky one unable to get far. The cougar then attacked the goat, trying to bite their neck. Filled with adrenaline, the woman entered the barn and kicked the cougar in an attempt to get it to let go.
Moore successfully freed the goat from the cougar, saving the goat's life. In comments to Storyful, she explained that these wildlife attacks have become more frequent, with bears and cougars increasingly hunting around her farm.

Moore continued to explain that the increase in wildlife attacks is due to developments that force wildlife out of their natural habitats and into areas near Moore's farm.
In the comments, users were filled with praise for Moore, with many reiterating. "That is one brave woman. She didn't even think twice. She jumped right in to action. Good on her."
Another user added, "Great rescue. She didn't even hesitate. What a hero."
"The way the cat looked back at her like did that human just kick me?! She saved that goat in the perfect timing! Proud goat Mama right there," another user commented.
Undoubtedly a scary situation for anyone, we are just happy that this dwarf goat and their human are both safe and sound after the attack.
