Reeves County Golf Course adds Power Tee technology to driving range
PECOS, Texas - Reeves County Golf Course has introduced new range technology intended to give golfers a practice experience similar to those found at high-end golf destinations and entertainment venues.
In a recent news release, the municipal golf course confirmed the installation of 10 new Power Tee automatic golf ball teeing machines at its driving range.
"Since the installation, the facility has already experienced a noticeable increase in driving range activity and customer traffic," said Power Tee officials.
Reeves County Golf Course Superintendent Michael Elrod said the course has seen a sizable increase in the number of people using the driving range.
"Our golfers have been very happy with it, and the feedback has been extremely positive," he said. "Reeves County Golf Course is the first facility in our area to install Power Tee ahead of competing courses nearby, and it has definitely helped set us apart."
The machines automatically tee up golf balls for players. Power Tee said the system has become increasingly popular at golf courses, practice facilities and golf entertainment venues that are seeking to modernize their driving ranges and attract more customers.
"We're excited to partner with Reeves County Golf Course as they continue investing in their facility and enhancing the golfer experience," said Power Tee founder and owner Martin Wyeth. "Municipal golf courses are recognizing the importance of offering modern amenities that keep golfers engaged, attract new visitors, and encourage players to spend more time practicing and enjoying the facility."
