Sean Elliott joins Spurs legends in new Rudy's Seafood mural

May 7-Spurs great Sean Elliott spends just about every waking minute rubbing elbows with Spurs stars past and present, whether it's courtside broadcasting on the action or at special appearances cheering on his former team.

Now he's doing it on the walls of Rudy's Seafood in a new Spurs mural.

The former Spurs small forward now graces the South Side restaurant in all his Silver and Black glory, courtesy San Antonio artist Nik Soupe, the talent behind Rudy's many spray-paint odes to the team. Elliott joins fellow Spurs stalwarts Tim Duncan and David Robinson on a south-facing wall.

Elliott won his first and only NBA championship with Duncan and Robinson in 1999, thanks in part to the famous "Memorial Day Miracle" three-pointer he sank in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals during that title-winning postseason.

The two-time All Star spent the bulk of his NBA career with the Spurs, which he bookended with a historic comeback in the 2000-01 season after undergoing a kidney transplant in August 1999. Elliott officially retired in 2001.
