New Details Emerge of Dianna Russini Hanging Out With Mike Vrabel While Pregnant In 2021

A stunning new chapter has emerged in the Dianna Russini-Mike Vrabel controversy.

Tuesday marked four weeks since Page Six first published photos of Russini and Vrabel spending time together at an adults-only hotel in Sedona, Arizona. Two weeks later, new images surfaced of them kissing at a bar in New York City in March 2020, while Vrabel was coaching the Tennessee Titans.

Now, another bizarre development in the controversy has come to light.

According to TMZ, Russini and Vrabel booked a private boat in Putnam County, Tennessee, in June 2021. TMZ obtained waivers that the two had signed before setting out on the water:

"We're also told Vrabel and Russini appeared cautious about photos being taken, and while she declined to pose at all with the staff...Vrabel agreed to snap one pic, but allegedly asked that no images be publicly posted."

Making the timing even more bizarre? Russini was pregnant with her first son at the time.

Russini married, Kevin Goldschmidt, in 2020. Their first son was born in Aug. 2021. 14 months later, they welcomed their second son.

Dianna Russini Resigned From The Athletic on Apr. 14

After the photos of Vrabel and Russini hanging out in Arizona were leaked, The Athletic placed its NFL insider on leave.

Russini resigned from her position as an NFL insider at The Athletic on Apr. 14, releasing her statement on X. Vrabel, in his second season as head coach of the New England Patriots, missed day three of the 2026 NFL Draft to attend counseling.

Before joining The Athletic in 2023, Russini spent eight years at ESPN. Aside from working as an NFL insider, she appeared on programs such as NFL Live and SportsCenter.

Russini has since deactivated her X account, and her Instagram page is now private. She hasn't released any further public statements since announcing her resignation from The Athletic.
