Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Frisco King’ casting extras for rave scene filming in North Texas
Taylor Sheridan’s “Frisco King” needs extras for two big scenes filming soon.
The Paramount+ series stars Samuel L. Jackson as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a hitman that crossed paths with Sylvester Stallone’s “Tulsa King” character Dwight Manfredi on the show’s third season.
“Frisco King” began production in Fort Worth in late March. Previously titled “NOLA King,” the show was originally supposed to be set and made in New Orleans, but is now a North Texas production.
The show is gearing up to film two different scenes involving a rave and a restaurant that require a good number of extras, according to Texas-based Legacy Casting.
Here’s what to know.

Filming will take place overnight, and some folks will get rained on and have foam fall on them as they dance. Ideally, Legacy is looking for people ages 18-26 for the scene that pays $200 per night.

The other big scene coming soon involves filming at a Pakistani restaurant on Thursday, July 9, Friday, July 10, and July 14-15.

More on ‘Frisco King’
Sheridan is writing every episode of “Frisco King” himself.
The show is expected to be another “fish out of water” story with Jackson’s character living and working in a city far from his New Orleans beginnings. This is the same premise for “Tulsa King,” which sees Stallone’s New York City character adjust to life in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“Frisco King” will film in Fort Worth, Plano, Dallas, Frisco, Keller, Denton and Southlake through July. In addition to Jackson and Stallone, the show stars Kai Caster, Asa Germann, Lilah Pate and Savanna Gann.
No release date has been set for the series.
