Kendra Scott to open $1.4M ‘Yellow Rose’ boutique in Fort Worth Stockyards
Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott, a new “modern cowgirl” lifestyle brand the jeweler is expanding across Texas, is slated to open its first Fort Worth boutique in Fort Worth at Mule Alley in the Stockyards.
The brand launched in 2023 with a flagship location in Austin, which opened in November 2024. The brand also has locations in Dallas, Houston and most recently, Nashville.
The company describes Yellow Rose as “true lifestyle destination” that celebrates “the freedom of the American West through fashion.” Yellow Rose sells jewelry, clothing, hats, belts, boots, men’s wear and more.
The Nashville flagship store, opened this March, includes the brand’s first cocktail bar, called Beau’s Bar, in a space decorated with “reclaimed wood beams, brick tile, burnished leather, layered textiles, and antique furnishings” which are inspired by Scott’s Yellow Rose Ranch in Hill Country.
A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation this week indicated that construction on the $1.44 million project will begin May 1. The store will be about 6,600 square feet in a space that was temporarily occupied by Kemo Sabe, a luxury Western wear brand, in January and February.
Mule Alley opened in the summer of 2020 after the Stockyards ownership group spent years converting the historic livestock barns into upscale restaurants, boutiques and bars — with the luxury Hotel Drover as an anchor. The Stockyards draws an estimated 9 million visitors each year.
Representatives for Kendra Scott declined to comment on Tuesday. Representatives for the Fort Worth Stockyards could not be reached immediately for comment.
Records show the store is expected to be complete by late October.
Scott, a billionaire entrepreneur built her namesake jewelry brand out of Austin in 2002, has described the brand as a “tribute to Texas and a broader expression of Western independence and strength.” Scott, born in Wisconsin, moved to Houston as a teenager and later relocated to Austin.
