Camp Bowie, Cattlemen’s Steak House appear in latest ‘Landman’ season 2 episode
Several Fort Worth references and locations appeared in the latest “Landman” episode.
The Taylor Sheridan co-created show returned for its 10-episode second season on Nov. 16 and will air weekly until January. The Paramount+ show filmed in and around Fort Worth over the spring and summer.
TCU, River Crest Country Club, downtown Fort Worth and even the Star-Telegram have been spotted in the first two episodes this season.
Here’s a look at all the locations and references featured in episode three, “Almost a Home.”
Ultimate Top Drives
The episode opens with hunters driving and shooting after hogs.
The vehicle the hunters are is from Ultimate Top Drives, an outdoor vehicle company based in Selma, Texas. The elevated vehicles give hunters a height advantage, according to the company.
Frost Tower
At 3:48, Cami (Demi Moore) is seen going through files at her husband’s office in Fort Worth.
This was filmed at Frost Tower in downtown at 640 Taylor St. The 25-story building opened in 2018.
Westfork Fitness
At 5:53, Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) calls Rebecca (Kayla Wallace) while she’s at the gym.
This was filmed at Westfork Fitness at 4648 White Settlement Road. The gym is located in Fort Worth’s River District neighborhood.
Stephen Reich
At 15:57, Tommy drops Angela (Ali Larter) off at a Fort Worth house with a realtor.
The realtor is an actual realtor in Stephen Reich, who is based in Weatherford and sells ranches and luxury estates. Reich is mentioned in this season’s first episode as well.
Camp Bowie
At 16:53, Tommy is seen driving to an appointment.
A quick aerial shot shows that Tommy is driving on the red-bricked Camp Bowie Boulevard. The roadway is named after a World War I military training camp called “Camp Bowie,” which itself was named after Texas revolutionary hero James “Jim” Bowie.
Crescent Fort Worth
A few seconds later, Tommy enters a building for a meeting.
This was filmed at Crescent Fort Worth, a mixed-use development located at 3230 Camp Bowie Blvd. A hotel, apartments and office spaces are located in the development.
The scene with Tommy and Gallino (Andy Garcia) was filmed in one of the building’s offices. The University of North Texas Health Science Center and Will Rogers Memorial Center can be seen in the far background.
Fort Worth luxury home
At 29:27, Angela checks out a house that’s for sale.
The Fort Worth house is the former home of ex-Radio Shack CEO Len Roberts at 4400 Overton Crest St. The home was auctioned off for $5.2 million in 2023.
Moncrief Cancer Institute
At 32:15, Tommy and Cami are talking about honoring Monty’s (Jon Hamm) legacy.
Tommy mentions that she could build a cancer center “like the Moncrief’s.” This is in reference to the affluential Moncrief family, which the Moncrief Cancer Institute is named after.
Cattlemen’s Steak House
At 33:09, Tommy and Cami arrive at Cattlemen’s Steak House.
This was filmed at the actual Fort Worth restaurant, which recently underwent a series of multimillion-dollar renovations after it was purchased by “Landman” co-creator Taylor Sheridan and executive producer David Glasser.
Part of the renovations included an exclusive members-only dining and social club — The Cattlemen’s Club — in the restaurant’s basement.
“Landman” airs Sundays on Paramount+
