Kirk Franklin’s 2024 tour includes date at Fort Worth Dickies Arena. How to get tickets

Fort Worth’s own gospel superstar Kirk Franklin is returning to Cowtown this fall on his newly announced tour.

Franklin, 54, was born in Fort Worth and raised by a great-aunt who took him to church every Sunday. It was during these repeated visits that Franklin’s musical talent blossomed.

The “Love Theory” singer is stopping by Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena on Oct. 27 as part of the 2024 leg of his, “The Reunion Tour.” Franklin also stopped by Dickies Arena last November on the 2023 leg of the tour.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday via Ticketmaster. Fans can purchase tickets early from noon to 10 p.m. Tuesday by using the code “DICKIES” at checkout.

Joining Franklin as co-headliners on the tour are Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp and The Clark Sisters. Special guest star Kierra Sheard-Kelly is also set for the tour.

Franklin kicked off “The Reunion Tour” last fall from September to November 2023. He and his cohorts will begin this new leg later this year in September and finish by early November.

Franklin holds his Fort Worth origins to high esteem.

The “I Smile” singer told the Star-Telegram in a recent interview that he’s in Fort Worth all the time and its therapeutic for him every time he’s back in town.

“I am very much connected to where I come from,” Franklin said. “It’s very much a need.”

Franklin will next be seen at his Exodus Music & Arts Festival this weekend at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving.
