Blaine Mitchell, Madi Davis advance to ‘The Voice’ live shows
Two of the three remaining North Texas singers competing on the current season of The Voice survived the “knockout rounds,” advancing Monday to the live shows.
Fort Worth’s Blaine Mitchell and McKinney’s Madi Davis both triumphed over their competitors, remaining in the hunt to win it all.
Davis took a run at Joni Mitchell’s A Case of You, with impressive results (see below).
Mitchell performed James Bay’s Hold Back the River, which put him over the top (see below).
Darius Scott, who also lives in Dallas, still has to take his turn. The knockout rounds continue tonight and into next week, with the live episodes scheduled to begin Nov. 9.
