The Hot Issue

Brianna Ramos
Brianna Ramos Special to DFW.com

After a rain-soaked, record-breaking May, the North Texas summer took a little longer than usual to arrive.

But arrive it did, and it wasn’t long before those spring rains evaporated into a haze of 106-degree days — perfect weather for the annual DFW.com Hot Issue.

This is our sixth annual celebration of everything that makes DFW such a sizzling place to live — hot restaurants, clubs, bands and, of course, people.

Our 2015 roster includes former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and a wide receiver-turned-sports talk radio host, current NBA dancers, and reality TV stars ranging from American Ninja Warrior to The Amazing Race to The Bachelorette.

You’ll also meet a former Miss Texas USA and the two-time reigning Miss Hooters Texas.

And should the heat get to be too much for you, we have twin sisters with medical training.

So sit back and relax, preferably near a pool with an icy cold beverage, and let us bring the heat.

Who would you like to trade places with for one day? My dog! He doesn’t have to cook for himself when he’s hungry, he sleeps in my big comfy bed, I’m always petting him and playing with him — I’m pretty much there for his every need. He just makes life look so simple.

Interesting fact about you: I started my own charity through Helping a Hero at age 20, and by the time I was 21, it had raised more than $1 million.

Fantasy person to date? Actor Dave Franco (21 Jump Street). Hands down. Bye.

Favorite artist? Tiesto. His live shows are amazing and I was fortunate enough to meet him when I lived in New York. It is great to see someone who has not let fame go to his head.

What’s your perfect night out: I would rather stay in, cook dinner with someone and watch movies than be out partying.
